Description

This in an annual requirement for bulk fuels (JP8, EN590 and EN228) in support of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. The requirements are: Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, Quantity: 84,000,000 USG; Diesel Fuel Oil (EN590), NSN: 9140-99-910-0459, Quantity: 32,000,000 USG (including 10,000,000 USG for the option period); and Gasoline Automotive (EN228), NSN: 9130-01-423-0939, Quantity: 9,000,000 USG. The delivery period for JP8 is January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007. The delivery period for EN590 (Basic) is November 1, 2006 through July 31, 2007; the option delivery period is August 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007. The delivery period for EN228 is November 1, 2006 through December 31, 2007. All delivery periods include a 30-day carry over. Fuels to be lifted from East Coast or Gulf Coast port, FOB origin. This solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov) or the DESC home page (www.desc.dla.mil). A posting notice will be sent to firms on the solicitation mailing list on the date the FMS RFP is issued and posted on the DESC homepage. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979.
