Description
The White Sans Missile Range Contracting Office plans to procure on a sole source basis two (2) DROP-300 Remote Video Surveillance Systems from Digital Force Technologies, 9455 Waples Street, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92121. The DROP-300 Remote Vide o Surveillance Systems include: GSM, Globalstar, Iridium Transceivers, PIR Motion Sensors, AES Image Encryption and APT Absolute Pan-Tilt System. In addition, DFT DROP Training and Night Vision Imager Modules; with GEN III Image Intensified Imager 64/pmm and 170mm Catadioptric Lens, compatible with APT will be provided. This system is unique on the market based on the features it provides. These key distinguishing features include: - Video capture from any standard NTSC video source. The DROP-300 allows existing and legacy cameras to be used and does not require proprietary digital camera systems. - Browser-based user interface. The DROP-300 allows any computer to easily connect to, operate, and program the DROP-300 CPU. No external software is required to be loaded onto the computer. This reduces training time as most users are already familiar wi th common web browser software. - Modular use of various satellite transceivers. The DROP-300 system allows for interchangeable use of several different satellite transceivers. These include Globalstar, Iridium, GSM cellular, and Thuraya (currently under development). - AES Encryption. The DROP-300 system provides the option to encrypt all images being sent over the reach-back link using AES encryption with a 256-bit key. This commercial strong encryption allows for commercially secure transmission of images over com mercial networks. - Small physical size. The DROP-300 main unit measures 9.5W x 7.25D x 1.75H. - Video Motion Detection. The DROP-300 implements video motion detection to trigger capture of images. This can be custom configured through the web-browser interface. - Live connect. The DROP-300 allows a remote user to connect to the device and re-position the camera (by controlling a connected pan-tilt unit) and view instantaneously updated images over the satellite link. - Remote control of Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Focus, Iris. The DROP-300 allows a remote user to control the pan, tilt, zoo, focus, and iris of a connected camera and pan-tilt platform. This firm is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the DROP-300 Remote Surveillance Systems. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation will be forthcoming. See Note 22.
