Description

This solicitation is to purchase Top Loaded Ball Valve Back Seat Cutting Machine and a replacement part for a Climax BV5000 Ball Valve Seat Cutting Machine. The BV5000 Extended Range Tool Head Kit, 5959-S1 will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Climax Portable Machines per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The seat cutting machine will be purchased through full and open competition. The cutting machine is a Top Loaded Ball Valve Back Seat Cutting Machine. It must include interchangeable tool heads for 8? valves, presetting stand, adapter plates and air lubricator. It must also be of a compact design and lightweight. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax request will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.
