- Description
- NAICS Code: 333411 In accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures, and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, the U.S. EPA National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL), Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, requires a commercially available Electrostatic Gas Conditioning System (EGCS). The EGCS will be used to remove tars and heavy organic compounds from hot raw syngas that is produced from the gasification of biomass, coal, or waste. The removal of tars prior to entering the continuous emission monitoring system is essential for quality measurements. In addition, the tars that are collected must be continuously measured to quantify the gas species and pyrolysis liquid products that are produced in the gasifier. This procurement will be conducted under Full and Open Competition utilizing NAICS code 334516 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Award will be made using "Best Value" evaluation criteria. Any responsible source believing itself capable of providing the required EGSC may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. The solicitation will be posted at the fedbizopps website approximately 15 days after electronic posting of this synopsis. Questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing to Scott Tharp via Fax (513) 487-2107 or email Tharp.Scott@epa.gov.
