Description

This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F3Z3516180A200, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-10 and Defense DCN 20060616. The solicitation listed here is unrestricted. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) 5445. The associated Standard Classification (SIC) is 3679. The North American Industry Classification System is 334220 and the number of employees is 500. This requirement will be set-aside for 100% Small Business. The government intends to solicit and award this purchase order for the following products and service; This requirement is to provide all labor, equipment, and material to accomplish the following: deconstruct the existing 60’ antenna tower outside the command post and save all the equipment mounted on it. Also demolish the existing tower foundation and remove the debris for proper disposal. You will then furnish and install a new 88’ Magnum or equivalent freestanding antenna tower with a new foundation and ground system that complies with the Magnum or equivalent engineering standards. Base digging permits to cover the demolition of the current foundation and construction of the new foundation will be required. This project must be completed prior to 15 SEP 06 due to mission requirements. Drawings and specs of the requested Magnum Tower will be available upon your request. CLIN 0001: PURCHASE AND INSTALL ON NEW 88’x36” MAGNUM FACE TRIANGULAR SELF-SUPPORTING COMM TOWER OR EQUIVALENT ANTENNA AND NEW FOUNDATION, TO INCLUDE DEMOLITION OF OLD TOWER AND FOUNDATION. Offerors must quote delivery days. FOB (destination) is: ., 60CS COMMAND POST, Travis Air Force Base CA. 94535. The following provisions or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2-Evaluation-Items paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows-Evaluation Factors: Specifications and Price. Award will be based on aggregate. FAR 52.212-3-Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer.
