Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and another written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 effective 05 Apr 2004. The requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The NAICS Code is 336611with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. Solicitation number HSCG28-06-Q-3HD755 applies. A Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order is anticipated. The Contractor to provide all labor to remove, install/renew the following list of Government furnished water tight doors, hatches and scuttles: QAWTD 3-283-2 (Quick Acting Water Tight Door), QAWTS 2-79-1 (Quick Acting Water Tight Scuttle), QAWTD 1-64-8, QAWTD 1-124-1, QAWTD 1-292-1, QAWTD 1-179-4, QAWTD 2-304-1, QAWTS 01-50-2, QAWTH 01-60-0 (Quick Acting Water Tight Hatch), QAWTS 01-67-0, WTH 1-25-1 (Water Tight Hatch), WTD 01-96-1 (Renew with QAWTD, same as 01-185-1), WTD 1-272-1 (Renew with QAWTD NSN 2040-00-542-0201) and WTH 1-304-1 on board USCGC Dallas.
