Department of Veterans Affairs, Minneapolis VA Medical Center, MPLS, MN does not presently intend to award a contract based on responses to this solicitation. Should a subsequent solicitation be issued the acquisition shall be conducted in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR). NAICS code 62111 _ _Ambulatory Health Care Services_ with a small business size of $9.0 Million this RFI. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR PART 15 _ 52.215-3 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION OR SOLICITATION FOR PLANNING PURPOSES (OCT 1997) (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although _proposal_ and _offeror_ are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for the purpose of: Market Research the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans, Minneapolis VA Medical Center, is seeking to obtain delivery information and capabilities for planning purposes. This RFI is intended to identify sources capable of delivering the requirement, a draft copy of the requirements has been provided as an attachment to this solicitation. Pre-solicitation Conference _ Western Wisconsin (Barron County Area near Rice Lake, WI and Sawyer County near Hayward, WI) The Minneapolis VAMC anticipates approximately 1800 patients enrolled in the program during the initial year, generating approximately 3960 clinic visits. The Government is contemplating enrolling an additional 800 patients in the following year. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is performing market research in preparation for issuing a solicitation for Primary Care Medical Services in Western Wisconsin. This is not a solicitation and the VAMC does not intend to award a contract based on this conference, but wants to obtain delivery and capability information for planning purposes. Interested contractors are invited to participate in this conference on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 beginning at 9 am in the GRECC Conference Room, #4L-125 at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. To confirm your attendance forward the following information by mail to the address below or via fax to 612-467-2072. NO TELEPHONE CONFIRMATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Your confirmation should include: company name, address, number of representatives attending, corporate size and social-economic status based on the Small Business Administrations guidelines for NAICS code 62111.
