- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, H92242-06-T-0017 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and this is notice that NSWG4 Contract Office, NAB Little Creek, Norfolk Va intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. The associated NAICS code is 336612 and small business size standard is 500. Line item 0001 Provide Boat and Trailer Repairs in accordance with the Specification Document cited below. JOB SPECIFICATION 11mRB 39 Boat Repairs - Preservation Description Remove the following metal components from boat for preservation: Bow post, Hold #1 hatch and frame, Hold #2 hatch and frame, Console hatch and frame Console handrails (3 ea), Radar arch & its components, bolster hand rails, engine box vents, Engine box handrail & bases, jet compartment hatches, forward and aft gun mounts & flower pots, Swim platform strut, console terminal board plate, drive shafts & gearbox flanges, Racor filters, Priming pumps, Hydraulic deck connection protectors (8 ea), Console DICP beraker bezels Throttle/Waterjet/Gearbox bezels, Battery tray Replace the ground plane on the radar arch Blast all removed components to white metal Apply CeRam Kote to all components Power tool clean and prep jet compartment hatch rings and CeRam Kote them in place Paint swim plat backing plate Provide and install new gasket material in all hatches Reinstall all components using new hardware and pins Boat Repairs - Hull & Topside Description Repair hull scratches, gouges and nicks caused by trailering Repair nicks in forward deck area (approximately 10 ea) Accomplish fiberglass repairs port and starboard exhaust deflectors to eliminate cracks and chips Accomplish fiberglass repairs to bow Repair all lift strake damage on both sides and swim platform damage Grind clearance on engine boxes around latches to eliminate gouging Prepare entire topside and console for all over Armorcote Armorcoat all repaired areas Armorcoat Hold #1 compartment completely Armorcoat Hold #2 compartment completely Paint 3rd & 4th bolsters Armorcoat forward bolster frames and the 5 each bolster shells Accomplish an all over buff of the boat Boat Repairs - Mechanical Description Perform electrical OP test of all circuits to determine any needed repairs & report to unit Provide and install a new horn Provide and install a new acrylic windshield Remove the steering nozzle, end bell and guide vane chamber from both jets Check all components and adjust impeller clearances Report to unit any materials needing replacement Cut out loose caulk and recaulk both water jets Prep and preserve the exterior and interior of both water jets with Interprotect 2000 & Trilux 33 Assemble jets Replace blower hoses w/ new orange hose & alum vents Reattach insulation for the engine compartment hatch cover Work/replace back flush cables (GFE) Install zinc mod on jets Provide and install port & starboard console bags Provide and install GPS and Radar cover & track Provide and install console splash shield Provide and install new foam and covers for all handrails Replace rubber edging on seat bolsters (5 each) Replace bolster seat locking pin strap covers (10 total) on 1st & 2nd row bolsters Provide and install new 4th row slick bolster cushion Provide new anchor chain bag Remove existing and reinstall all treadmaster and ensulite on entire deck Fwd hold #1 foot pmp bags (2 each) Radar arch Covers Replace ratchet straps in fwd hold # 2 Replace hyd.
