Description

1) Dormitory Bed, Bunkable (able to be placed separately or stacked), Round Tube, 36?W X 79?L (size is a critical element), Frame is to be welded and the 10-gauge sinuous no-sag springs are to be attached to the frame ends with 12-gauage spiral springs ? 944 each; 2) Bed, Conversion Unit, Round Tube, to be used for Item #1 ? 472 each; 3) Hospital Mattress, Type II, 36? X 80? X 6-1/2? ? 944 each; 4) Ladder, Tube Steel, 15?W X 48?L, to be used with Item 1 ? 472 each. This is a combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The required delivery date is September 30, 2006. Any freight charges shall be specified on the quote. FAR Clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition. The following clauses in 52.212-5 are checked: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the Provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeroror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
