Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites proposals for Falkner Island Pier Restoration and Protection project located in Guilford (New Haven Co.), Connecticut. This island is part of the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge, Westbrook, CT. The work includes removal of existing timber piles and wooden planking comprising a timber landing, installation of sheet piling along existing stone and concrete pier, dredging boat basin, partial breakwater restoration, timber pile installation, and installation of floating dock system. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000. and $200,000. The NAICS code for this acquistion is 237990 (SIC code is 8741). The size standard is $23 million. This procurement is set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Issue date will be o/a August 29, 2006.
