Description
The U. S. Navy intends to procure the nonrecurring and recurring effort associated with ECP HPTS-026P ?ECP for the High Power Transmit System Long Trailing Wiring Antenna 85 Horsepower Motor Contactor? on a sole source basis from Rockwell Collins Inc, 3200 East Renner Road, P.O. Box 833807, Richardson, TX, 75083-3807. In total, 16 kits will be procured and installed, along with the nonrecurring engineering needed to design, develop and manufacture the kits. The Naval Air Systems Command intends on issuing a cost-plus-fixed-fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-04-G-0020 to accomplish this effort. Rockwell Collins is the sole designer and developer of the E-6B HPTS and LTWA and possesses the unique test capability to verify through their facility the functionality of the modified system prior to aircraft modification.
