- Description
- The Oak Grove Road No 30032 near Leeds, Utah was damaged by flooding. Flood waters eroded away the bank of the stream and caused slumping in the existing roadway. Work under this contract consists of making repairs to the damaged roadway and constructing features and structures to stabilize the roadway. Specific work includes constructing 2 medium gabion walls and the reconstruction of the existing roadway, travel route 032. The Oak Grove road (30032) is located on the Pine Valley Ranger District of the Dixie National Forest. The project can be accessed from the Silver Reef exit, exit 23, on Interstate 15 approximately 14 miles north of Saint George, Utah. The project is approximately 6 miles to the west of the interstate via forest route 30032. The borrow site for the project is also located a short distance from the project site. There will be a site visit September 5, 2006 at 11:00. Meet at 1789 N. Wedgewood Ln, Cedar City, UT. Then we will travel to the meeting site. This Project will be uploaded into FedBizopps on approximately August 29, 2006.
