- The United States Government intends to procure Graphic Tracking and Triage System Enhancements Statement of Work/Specifications Create-IT: Graphics Tracking and Triage System Enhancements A. Background and Need The National Center for Health Marketing (NCHM), Division of Creative Services (DCS), has been designated the executive owner and organizational home for Graphics Consolidation, one of four areas that the Business Services Consolidation (BSC) Steering Committee was charged with accomplishing. This effort administratively centralizes some 250 production and graphic artists who provide graphics services across CDC Centers in 13 cities. These CDC employees are located in multiple cities from coast to coast. The services and products this staff provides includes: presentations, desktop publishing, conference materials, video editing, multi-media, 3-D modeling/animation, photography, graphic design/illustration. It is DCS? responsibility to manage the workload and assignments of these staff. DCS, through the Create-IT interface is the central point of access for all CDC graphics requests, and will need to prioritize and assign work to be done, monitor project status and associated resources, and produce a variety of reports. B. Purpose (Objectives) The purpose of the products requested is to maintain and enhance Virtual Ticket and Job Manager. Provide upgrades through out the contractual period. Provide training and support for product enhancements. C. Scope of Work To provide digital storage, web upgrades, a proofing system that stores tracking information and training on the new enhancement. This must be an enhancement to software currently being used to manage service requests. D. Tasks to be performed The following tasks are required of the Contractor: 1. The Contractor must be able to provide enhancements to the existing system: Virtual Ticket and Job Manager. 2. The Contractor shall provide training and support for product enhancements introduced in the Background and Need Statement of this SOW. 3. All source code provided by the Contractor shall adhere to the industry usability standards for multimedia. E. Deliverables 1. Approval Manager 1.0-Maximum of 750 concurrent Proofs. This allows job information per person with in the system to be stored and tracked on a background basis. 2. Approval Manager assurance and support 3. Digital Storage Manager 2.0- Allows artist to increase file sharing 4. Digital Storage Manager assurance and support 5. Business Solutions Assurance and support-1 year software assurances and support for Virtual Ticket and Job Manager 6. Onsite training ? to support the system upgrades F. The Government Will Provide: 1. The Certified and Accredited server to house the software enhancements 2. A suitable training room G. Period of Performance The performance period shall commence after the date of the award of the contract until September 30, 2007. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with Offerors providing the requested service. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offeror?s best terms. The quotation shall include the price, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point(Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number(TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number(DUNS),and descriptive literature of the service quoted. The quotation must reference Solicitation number 00HCPBHC-2006-35419. Quotations will be due fifteen(15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Ivory Reid or emailed to ireid@cdc.gov All vendors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registry(CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract.
