Description
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division of Homeland Security (ICE) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a purchase order with Falk Technical Service Corporation, 227 West 19th Street, New York, NY 10011 for the maintenance of high efficiency air conditioners located at 601 West 26th Street, New York, NY 10001 for AC maintenance and repair service. The anticipated date for purchase order award is August 17, 2006. The term of the purchase order will be one year from date of award with an option to extend an additional one (1) one-year period. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-12. The ICE has determined that Falk Technical Service is the only responsible vendor who can provide the necessary maintenance service for building equipment due to a service level agreement with the building leaseholder. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as proposals or bids, and cost and pricing data are not solicited. A determination by ICE not to open this requirement to competition based upon any written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of ICE. ONLINE REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATION APPLICATION (ORCA) The Federal Acquisition Regulation was recently amended to require offerors complete Representations and Certifications through ORCA at least annually as of January 1, 2005. The offeror is hereby required to complete the ORCA via http://orca.bpn.gov prior to the due date. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ?
