Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for a Network Automation Engine with (1) portable interface tool, and copies of the following software items: M-Tools software (5 copies), Cable Pro device (5 each), System Configuration Tool (1 copy), and a Portable Interface Tool (1 each). This is a Sole Source with Johnson Controls Inc. IAW FAR 6.302.1. Johnson Controls Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement. Competition for this product can not be performed due to the fact that this is proprietary software required specifically for the existing equipment installed throughout numerous facilities on Patrick AFB. No solicitation document exists at this time. This item utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3585 and a North American Industry classification System (NAICS) code of 333415. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received with in 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCAA has determined that Johnson Controls Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
