Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. FA7012-06-T-0051. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-12. This The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 441222 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The proposed contract is 100 percent set-aside for small business. CONTRACT LINE ITEM NUMBER: 0001 Boat with trailers, LENGTH-16 feet 4 inches, BEAM-84 inches, TRANSOM HEIGHT-21 inches, MAX.RECOMMENDED HP-90 hp, MAX.PERSON CAPACITY-4 persons, MAX.PERSON WEIGHT-465 lbs, MAX.WEIGHT CAPACITY-1080 lbs, WEIGHT (APPROX)-1092 lbs, FUEL CAPACITY-24 gallons, PKG LENGTH W/ TRANSOM SAVER-21 feet 8 inches, PKG LENGTH W/O TRANSOM SAVER-20 feet 10 inches, PACKAGE WIDTH-8 feet, PACKAGE WEIGHT (APPROX)-1806 lbs, MFR: Nitro 640 LX or equal. EXTENDED DESCRIPTION: COMFORT, SAFETY, and OTHER: drink holders, horn, fire extinguisher, passanger grab handle, paddle, flotation meets or exceeds NMMA and U.S. Coast Guard requirements. EVALUATION PROCEDURES: The Government will select the best overall offer based on Price and other factors considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government in accordance with the requirement. Only those offerors determined to be in compliant with the requirements as stated in this solicitation will be considered for award. If additional information is required to support price reasonableness, each offeror may be requested to provided a hard copy of their price break-down. Non-conformance with this requirement may result in offeror?s quote being determined unacceptable.
