Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs is seeking potential Native American and Small Business Firms who can provide the government with a Wind Energy Resource Analysis tool for analyzing tribal wind energy resource data. The software module can work alone as well in conjunction with other modules available to contractor. The software must have the ability to create maps and perform analysis of valuable wind energy data in a more effective and effiecient manner than maintaining a wind energy database in-house utlizing data and software from numberous sources. The response received from this posting will be used to compile a list of potential sources. Contractors must be qualified, licensed, and registored in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR). Contractors can registor at www.ccr.gov. This is not a request for quotes, proposal, or invitation for bid. This posting's purpose is only to uncover potential sources. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into in any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity that receives this inquiry. The inquiry neither states or implies that furture contracts will be awarded to persons, firms, or other entities responding to this inquiry. However, there may be possibility for future business if/when the Government has a need for this service. All interested parties shall respond with a notice of interest, a copy of their CCR document, and any other information relating to the government need, not later than August, 18, 2006.
