- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this project is I6140060034 and is issued as an invitation to bid (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-11 dated December 12, 2002. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS code and small business size standard is 336611 with less than 1000 employees. A Bidding Schedule and Scope of Work is provided for this procurement (To access Public FTP: Go to FTP://63.220.43.40/APIS%20-%20RE-power%20LCM from Internet Explorer. " If you are not automatically prompted for a username and password, click File > Login As... " For the username, enter npsftpwin " For the password, enter FTP04npswin (that's a zero; FTP in caps!) Use the standard Windows Edit > Copy and Edit > Paste functions to upload or download files. LCM will be delivered by the National Park Service at the location chosen by the contractor (see Scope of Work for details) by October 1, 2006 (weather permitting) and will be picked up on May 1, 2007 (weather permitting) (See Scope of Work for details). FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Bidders are required to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the clause. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition. A Pre-bid Meeting will be held on August 24, 2006, 9:00 AM (SEE SCOPE OF WORK FOR DIRECTIONS FOR THE PRE-BID MEETING). Bids are due to the Contracting Officer on September 14, 2006, 2:00 PM, CDT.
