Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Florida Integrated Science Center (FISC) in St. Petersburg, FL, plans to make a competitive award via written request for quotation No. 06ERQQ0069 for a lightweight (<40 lbs in air), computer-controlled, tow vehicle is needed that is capable of operating in coastal ocean waters within the 0-100m depth range. The tow vehicle must provide a flexible, user-configurable mounting system for a large variety of research instruments and real-time data transmission from these instruments to a computer on the boat.
