This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for Guard Assemblies and Adapter Guards for the MK-82 Antenna System. The solicitation will have four CLINs CLIN 0001: Guard Assembly (P/N 6736830-1) ? Aluminum fabrication with quick catch clamp and strike. Intended use is for MK-82 director to prevent water intrusion of train bearing, part of ORDALT 20335. For additional information please see spec control drawing 6736830 and parts list 6736830-1. For additional drawing measurements see spec control drawing 6736829 for guard assembly and parts list 6736829-1. Guard Assembly (P/N 6736829-1) is actually the measured drawing for (P/N 6736830). Drawing 6736830 only shows latch and latch plate placement. Paint and marking not required. Minimum Quantity 15, Maximum Quantity 150. CLIN 0002: Guard Assembly (P/N 6736830-2) ? CLIN 0004: Adapter Guard (P/N 6736828-2) ? Aluminum fabrication with milled channel and hard anodize per drawing. Intended use is for MK-82 director to secure guard assembly and prevent water intrusion of train bearing, part of ORDALT 20335. For detailed drawing please see spec control drawing 6736828 and parts list 6736828-2. Paint and marking not required. Minimum Quantity 15, Maximum Quantity 450. The solicitation will be issued utilizing full and open competition procedures. A five-year indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, fixed priced contract is anticipated to result. Solicitation N00164-06-R-8988 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. This notice is a synopsis, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment. Contract! Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered.
