Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard intends to procure as a 100% Small Business Set Aside one (1) ?Turnkey? Retractable Shelter, which includes design, manufacture, assembly and installation of unit. Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized. The resulting award will be a firm, fixed priced supply type contract. FOB: Destination/Installation ? Bremerton, WA 98314. The solicitation will be issued on or about 21 August 2006. When issued the RFQ will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to mary.carkeek@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: 1) complete the pricing, 2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, and 3) ensure current registration in the Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov).
