- Description
- Synopsis/Solicitation F1T0EB6207A300, Thermal Imaging and Measurement System, is amended as follows: 1. “MCT” is deleted from the frame rate specification. 2. “NUS 3 Tables” is corrected to read “3 NUC Tables.” 3. The response date is changed to 2:00 pm Central Time on 17 August 2006. 4. The following questions and answers are provided: a. Question: Can you define performance requirements behind the filter wheel requirement? Can the filters be manually changed between testing and the collection of camera data? Answer: During a test, data will be collected with four different filters. The camera is in a flight motion table and it is not safe for personnel to get close to the camera while the table is in operation. The remote control allows the operator to change the filter without having to de-energize the table. The filter wheel does not have to move very fast. Data is collected, the filter position is changed, and then more data is collected. The time for the filter to change position is measured in 10’s of seconds. b. Question: A MWIR InSb camera is specified, but the frame rate spec references MCT. Please clarify this discrepancy. Answer: The detector is an InSb array. The frame rate spec is for the detector. MCT should be deleted from the frame rate specification. c. Question: What is meant by “NUS 3 Tables”? Answer: “NUS 3 tables” should be corrected to read “3 NUC tables”. d. Question: What is CIRRUS Control Software? Answer: Cirrus control software controls the camera. It adjusts integration time and frame rate, it performs 1 and 2 point nonuniformity corrections, It allows the NUC tables to be downloaded and uploaded from a computer. e. Question: What lenses, if any, are required? Answer: The camera must be compatible with our existing JADE lenses. 5. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-AUG-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
