- AMENDMENT 01 -- Interested offerors should request a copy of the Statement of Work and Evaluation Criteria a the following email address: Janet.M.Hannah@noaa.gov. --- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a multi-year contract for hotel accommodations and services to support the Department of Commerce (DOC), Bureau of Industry and Security, annual Update Forum located in Newport Beach, California on March 19, 2007. The contract shall be a firm fixed price requirement, which consist of one year base period and two one-year option periods. The offeror shall propose a price for the base period, and each of the two option periods in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The associated NAICS code is 721110. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) number EX22437. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11, dated July 5, 2006. This acquisition is being pursued on an unrestricted basis. The associated NAICS code is 721110 and small business size standard of $6.5M. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable to this acquisition. Provisions 52.212-1 (Jan 2005) Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2 (Jan 1999) -- The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical and past performance when combined, are equally as important as price. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposed by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). Provision 52.212-3 (Jan 2005) Offeror Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items. Offerors shall complete only paragraph (1) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual Representations and Certifications electronically at http://orca.,bpa.gov Offerors are to include a completed copy with its offer.
