Description: The 99th Contracting Squadron at Nellis AFB intends to award a contract to Wingate Technologies of Sandy, Utah for pararecuemen tree suits. These suits are made of tear resistant nylon/Kevlar blend. They have individual pads for Back/Ribs, Shoulder and seat/crotch. The stirrups are adjustable with an additional elastic component. The letdown harness is built into pants with hardware for rappel. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition.
