Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Pars 12 and 13. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. The Patrick AFB Honor Guard Team (45 MSG/SVMXG) has a requirement for ceremonial uniforms and accoutrements. The requirements will be a sole source for the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) Military Colthing Sales. AAFES has the capabilities to provide the Honor Guard members with new uniforms in different sizes that are required as new members arrive. AAFES is located on Patrick AFB and will have in stock actual sizes to meet the individual?s needs. AAFES is capable of having the uniforms ready in a 24 hour period if needed. No other vendors in the local are have been found to provide this unique requirement that can satisfy the government?s need.
