This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Solicitation number: F2BBAM6200A100. 3. This synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 4. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02 effective 12 JULY 2006. 5. A notice regarding any set-aside: Requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. 6. NAICS Code: 333314. 7. Small Business Size Standard: $32 Mil. 8. Contract Line Item Number(s) (CLINs) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN: 0001 ITEM: Lens for Santa Barbara Focal Plane Camera Quantity: 01 Unit of Measure: EACH 10. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: Lens for Santa Barbara Focal Plane Camera. 1-3 micron band with total transmission greater than 60% over this band, 80% transmission, or higher, desired. The dimensions and sizes will have to be similar to the janos asio lens http://www.janostech.com/index.php?t=thermal_image_lenses/asio (because the camera is either designed for these lenses, or vice versa) Optimal focal length 12 mm. Options for additional lenses with shorter and longer focal lengths would be a plus. The lenses must fit the Santa Barbara Focal Plane camera (SBF180 InSb Camera). The following link is to the Santa Barbara Camera site.
