- This presolicitation notice supercedes that notice issued under solicitation number FA8501-06-R-0036. All postings related to the previously advertised requirement for Repair/Upgrade Electrical System for the Industrial Waste Treatment Plant may be found under this new presolicitation notice. A summary of the description is again listed below: 1. Replace existing motor control centers and associated wiring; 2. Demolish Building 236 (reuse existing floor slab); 3. Construct a new pre-engineered metal building for the motor control center; 4. Replace the existing generator and provide manufacturer?s weatherproof enclosure. This work will be done at Robins AFB. Tentative date for issuing the solicitation is 14 Aug 06. Plans will be available without charge. Tentative date for submitting your proposal is 13 Sep 06. If you do not submit a proposal, please advise if you want to continue to receive future presolicitation notices. This award is restricted to Hubzone competitive. A charge is not anticipated for solicitation documents. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project will be awarded when funds are available. The solicitation, complete with date and time of site visit, will be posted as soon as available, but anticipated within the next 5 business days.
