- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). All correspondence shall reference number W912NR-06-R-0003. This solicitation document and incorporated pro visions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. This procurement is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 334511 and the associated small busin ess size standard is 750 employees. ITEM DESCRIPTION: AVMAP Air Portable Moving Map GPS Unit. Features shall include viewing NavData in either vertical or horizontal mode, 7 diagonal screen, size of 4,.75 W x 7 L x 1.5 D, Internal 12-channel GPS, operate on aircraft 10 to 35-volt power supply, internal batteries for emergency use (up to 1.5 hours), NavData for the U.S., Canada, Central & South America, full flight planning capability (10 flight plans of up to 100 lets each), full or split HIS screens with data fields, vertical navigation routing, calculator functions: fuel winds, timers, trip computer, aircraft checklist, full simulator functions. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Processor- 226MHz, Dimensions- 4.75 W x 7 L x 1.5 D, Screen Display -7 diagonal, Screen Resolution- 800 x 480 pixels, Screen Brightness- 400 nits, Data Storage -compact flash, Mapping/NavData, Aeronautical- Jeppesen or equal, Land- TeleAtlas, Marine- C-MAP NT+, Power- 10 to 35-volt supply, Interface- Serial port or USB, Antenna- 5v DC with 3 diameter; 5 meter cable, padded bag, operations manual, leg strap, internal remote antenna cigarette lighter adapter. Proposals shall include pricing and warranty information.
