Duvall, Contracting Officer, (801)523-4091 DESCRIPTION: This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quot es are hereby requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 443112, size standard is $8.0M. SPECIFICATIONS: 1. One Hundred-Ten (110) 2GB MP-3 Player, minimum specifications: 500 songs, up to 14 hours of battery life, 1.5 diagonal color LCD with LED backlight, dock connector, stereo minijack, USB through dock connector, 3 hours of charge time, AAC (16 to 320 Kbp s), protected AAC, MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3 and 4), Apple lossless, WAV, AIFF, size: 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.72, weight: 1.5 ounces, earbud headphones, USB cable, dock adapter, one-year limited warranty, color: white 2. One Hundred-Ten (110) Black Leather Carrying Case w/Belt Clip. 3. Thirteen (13) Sound Docking System, minimum specifications: rich, full sound from relatively small enclosure, balances output of all frequencies to provide natural tonal balance and clarity throughout the audio spectrum, control system volume and basic functions from across the room, color: white. EVALUATION FACTORS: The contract type for this procurement will be Firm-Fixed price and award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. Selection will be based on the following evaluation factors: (1) t echnical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement; (2) past performance in providing similar type of item; (3) total cost and/or price. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(k), prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the CCR database prior to award. If the offeror does not become registered in the CCR database by the due date/time of quote, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror.
