Description

DESC: Roller, Linear-Rotar, NSN 3120011278980, Part Number 11826042. The item to procure is a Roller, Linear-Rotar, for the M240B Machine Gun. Machined from 52100 and 4130 steel bar. Parts include ring, roller, stem with an approximate size of .618 inches in length x .34 outside diameter. Phosphate coating is required. This procurement is designated as a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. Contemplate a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Requirements are a minimum guarant eed quantity of 7,000 for FY 06. Outyear requirements = FY07 = 10,000; FY08 = 15,000; FY09 = 15,000; FY10 = 15,000. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 1 Sep 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicit ation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically acc ess the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonrespo nsive and result in the rejection of same. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US Government requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this soli citation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. A Technical Data Package (TDP) will not be provided as part of this solicitation. To obtain a copy of the TDP, a prospective offeror must sign a Non-Disclosure A greement. Disclosure and use of the TDP are restricted by the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement that the offeror has executed prior to receipt of this TDP.
