- This procurement action will be for technical publication services for technical manual development, revision, and updates as well as provisioning support for various systems acquired by the US Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command. Work will i nclude the following: research and preparation of technical manuals to support new and current equipment in accordance with applicable regulations and guidance received in work directives; updating and/or revision of current technical manuals to preparati on of camera-ready copy of new or updated/revised technical manuals; reproduction of equipment publications based on government furnished specifications, requirements, input data, and samples; and non-personal equipment provisioning support, which includes the process of determining and acquiring the range and quantity of support items necessary to operate and maintain a system/item. A 3 year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) time-and-materials contract is anticipated. FOB is destination. Es timated issue date is 7 Sep 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact un able to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond t o them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation will be a 100% small business set-aside.
