Description

DESC: Trigger Housing, NSN 1005015255050, Part Number 13008368. The item to procure is a Trigger Housing Assembly for M240 Machine Gun. Consists of parts that require blank, formed and machined from steel and consists of a safety, Trigger Housing As sembly, Trigger Assembly, Left Grip, Right Grip, Headless Pin, Helical Spring, Sear and Machine Bolt. Proposed contract is 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. Requirements are for a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a Guarante ed Minimum Quantity of 700 for FY 06; 300 for FY 07; and 300 for FY 08. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 1 Sep 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be pro vided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will a ny amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to ob tain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. Disclosure and use of the TDP are restricted by Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement that the offeror has executed prior to receipt of the TDP. To obtain a copy of the TDP, a prospective offeror must sign a Non-Disclo sure and Non-Use Agreement.
