Description
NOUN/SERVICE TITLE: Logistics Management Information and associated Contractor support required for the assumption of Contractor Logistics Support for the Longbow Training Device Suite by other than McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Mesa, Arizona , the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. T his proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. The USG suggest those small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunitie s in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm(s) listed. Solicitation will be issued to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company a subsidiary of the Boeing Corporation, Commercial and Government Entity Code 8V613, located at 5000 East McDow ell Road, Mesa, AZ 85205. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek sou rce approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/com/ and looking under the Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered b y the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This documentation contains technical data whose export i s restricted by the Arms Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) or Executive Order 12470. Violation of these Export Laws is subject to severe Criminal Penalties. No telephone request will be accepted.
