Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) is seeking sources for the potential development and production of fractal element antenna capabilities for U.S. Navy ships. This capability will provide high frequency (HF) 2-30 MHz communications, Signals Intelligence, and Information Operations for ships involved in tactical operations. Fractal element antennas extend the FORCEnet construct to stealthy Navy platforms with the purpose of increasing the effectiveness of these platforms in achieving the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) SEAPOWER 21 vision. Currently, the Navy is interested in the development and/or production of fractal element antennas that can provide high frequency communications, Signals Intelligence, and Information Operations. See the attached Sources Sought document for additional details.
