DIA X 5-9/16? HT or 401 X 509; QAP 196 applies. Government lot acceptance testing is required. This is a synopsis for a commercial item in accordance with the procedures of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. This NSN is procured as fully competitive in accordance with a military/federal specifications/standards and/or voluntary industry standards. Refer to section L, clause 52.211-9G13 for obtaining such data. MSDS and OSHA hazard warning label are required. This item is used in a mercury free environment and must adhere to the requirements as specified in mercury free drawing 13873-03-0001. A copy of this drawing is available at DSCR and can be obtained via Internet at website: http://www.dscr.dla.mil/qap/qaps.htm (all lower case). This NSN is IAW SPEC NR MIL-PRF-23699F BASIC AMEND NR 00 DTD 05/21/97 & IAW STD NR MIL-STD-290F REFNO AMEND NR 00 DTD 07/17/00. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.dapsmil or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. This is solicited as partial small business set aside procurement: 50% will be set aside for small business participation & 50% will be unrestricted. This solicitation may result in multiple Firm Fixed-Priced Contracts; however, the total quantity of this acquisition is 202,509 QT (101,255 QT will be set aside for small businesses only & 101,254 QT will be unrestricted). This is a Critical Application Item. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). DLA-Direct lines only to Tracy, CA (AQ5) & Richmond, VA (SRG). FOB: Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Required delivery is 114 days ARO. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
