Description
THIS NOTICE IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE. The NAICS code for this proposed acquisition is 238910. The Government will use responses to this Sources Sought syno psis to make appropriate acquisition decisions regarding the type of procurement to be utilized to obtain Demolition and Debris Removal Services in the state of Louisiana. The Corps of Engineers Louisiana, Recovery Field Office, intends to explore the ava ilability of 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and local area firms in the state of Louisiana for the following projects: Demolition of Structures, Removal of debris and disposal site management . Work will be within, but not limited to the Parish boundaries of St. Tammany, Jefferson and Orleans devastated by Hurricane Katrina. These requirements may cover both public and private structures. Under NAICS code 238910 with the primary task(s) as follows: Provide all supervisi on, labor, plant, equipment and materials necessary to perform debris clean up and disposal site management. All interested companies meeting our stated business criteria are invited to submit a Capability Statement consisting of appropriate documentation , literature and brochures and should include: 1) Firm name, point of contact, address, telephone and fax numbers; 2) Identification of the company as a qualified 8(a), Hubzone or Louisiana firm with proper certification (NAICS Code 238910 business size s tandard is $13,000,000 of gross revenue over the past three years); 3) Past experience with demolition and/or debris removal to include length of experience as a Louisiana firm (As prescribed in FAR 52.226-3-Disaster or Emergency Area Representation, Lou isiana firms are defined as those residing in or primarily doing business in the state of Louisiana); 4). Specify interest and ability in performing demolition OR debris removal services OR BOTH; 5). Letter from bonding agency indicating your performanc e and payment bond capacity and 6) List of existing teaming agreements in place with other business. IMPORTANT: Responses must be limited to no more than 10 pages. Submission of a Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offe rings, but participation will assist the Corps in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation. Statements that do not meet all requirements or submitted within the allotted time will not be considered.
