Description

This is a notice of the Governments intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a medical equipment maintenance contract for a LADARWave CustomerCornea Wavefront system located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Solicitation W81K02-06-T-0117 applie s. Contractor services include but are not limited to: 1. Labor, parts, material, and travel necessary to maintain the listed equipment IAW MFG specifications. 2. Two (2) Preventive Maintenance (PM) visits every 12 months. 3. Software upgrades at no additional charge to the government 4. Troubleshooting assistance by modem or on site as requested 24 hours per day. This is a firm fixed-price type contract. This is not a set-aside for small-business. This solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be issued 21 August 2006. Period of Performance is for a Base Period (15 September 2006 through 14 September 2007) and four (4) one-year option periods. This solicitation package will be available on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website (https:/ /acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). Interested parties can also contact the POC for a copy of the solicitation package.
