Description

Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound intends to procure for a Diesel Generator Set in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). This solicitation will be solicited as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 335312 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This procurement will be awarded using the Commercial, Simplified Acquisition Procedures outlined in FAR part 12 and 13. Place of delivery is FOB: Bremerton, Washington. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 23 August 2006. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 6 September 2006. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website @ www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronic posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote non-responsive and result in rejection of same.
