Description

The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Inspector General (DHS/OIG), intends to issue on a sole source basis, a simplified acquisition to Commuter Check Corporation, 401 S. Van Brunt Street, Englewood, NJ 07631, to obtain commuter checks for DHS OIG San Francisco Audit Office. The Commuter Check Corporation is the only provider in the California Bay area that sells transportation vouchers. The vouchers can be exchanged for any of the public transportations available in the area. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. Public Debt will consider all affirmative response received no later than 2:00 PM EDT on August 21, 2006. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the required online subscriptions at terms more advantageous to the Government. Request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered affirmative responses. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet all requirements that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole source award to Commuter Check corporation.
