Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole-source acquisition with the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor Hotel, 110 South Eutaw Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 for the purpose of providing conference facilities (meeting space and break out rooms) and associated support services including food and beverage for 300 attendees on the dates of November 27-30, 2006. The facility must also be able to accommodate sleeping rooms at the Government per diem or less as follows: 10 sleeping rooms on November 26, 2006; 200 sleeping rooms each night from November 27-29, 2006 and 175 sleeping rooms on November 30, 2006. Meeting space and sleeping rooms must be under one roof. Meeting space requirements: Registration Space must be adequately sized to accommodate congregation of 300 meeting attendees along with registration tables, chairs, and easels. Main Meeting Space must be able to hold 300 attendees classroom style. 5 break-out rooms with capacity for up to 60 people classroom style are required on November 27th, 28th, and 30th. November 29th requires 3 break-out rooms for 100 people each in classroom style. The facility must be in compliance with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. SSA is not seeking a Conference Planner or Event Planning Services. See Numbered Note 22 except that the response time is changed to 11:00am EST in 3 business days (August 23, 2006).
