Description

This amendment is issued to answer questions, delete and add FAR Clauses and correct the Set-Aside Code. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: Question: 1. How many student positions are required in each of the six labs? Answer: There are 30 student positions a t each lab. Our student base is 3000, with an anticipated increase of 800 for a total 3800 students. Question: 2. what does on-site mean for this RFP. All responses to calls will be handled on site (as opposed to remote), or a tech that is actually on staff at Monterey? (This is the information as it appears on CLIN 3: Site License for Sanako Study 500 Classroom Management Software - incl. 1 +3 years maintenance,On-site Tech Rep for one year and training DLI Trainers)Answer: If problem can not be reso lved over the phone, then vendor needs to provide on-site support, meaning sending someone to POM to fix the problem. Question: 3. Is there any restriction for this RFP, that the successful vendor has to be a small business, or can another DOD entity resp ond? Answer: This is an unrestricted requirement as stated in the combined synopsis/solicitation. Set-Aside code and Clause 52.219-6 inadvertently cited are deleted as the result of this amendment. Not sure what is meant by another DOD entity. Other g overnment agencies are not being asked to provide offers. CLAUSE DELETION/ADDITION: FAR clause 52.219-6, Total Small Business Set Aside is deleted in its entirety. FAR Clause 52.214-21, Descriptive Literature is added. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-AUG-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
