- SOLICITATION IS BEING CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN PREPARATION FOR DSCR COMPUTER CONVERSION FROM SAMMS TO BSM IN SEPTEMBER. NSN 3110-01-377-0277, YPG06140000385, Bearing, Roller, Cylindrical. Configuration control item to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co. (8V613), Dwg. 7-113200063, Rev. K, P/N 7-113200063-3. Approved source: Timken Aerospace (78118). Part is an Army designated critical safety item (CSI), a critical application item, and a flight safety critical aircraft part. Solicitation issued unrestricted and other than full and open competition. First article/preproduction approval contractor testing required. Soliciting for a ?C? contract with a basic qty. of 390 each. 100% option applies. Solicitation issued FOB destination with inspection/acceptance at origin. Sampling for inspection & testing applies and shall be in accordance with ANSI./ASQ Z1.4-2003. Requested delivery is 312 DARO. Domestically manufactured part required. Deliveries split 43% to Tracy, CA and 57% to Corpus Christi, TX. AVBS applies. Final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors described in the solicitation. Solicitation issue date is anticipated to be August 11, 2006.
