Description

ACC Contracting Squadron, Langley Air Force Base, VA has a requirement to procure 19 each FOD*BOSS Rapid Response Speed Sweepers for multiple Air Combat Command bases. ACC Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. ACC Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price purchase order with The F.O.D. Control Corporation, 8987 East Tanque Verde Road, Building 309 -Mail Stop #360, Tucson, Arizona 85749-9399. The NAICS code for this purchase is 333999 with a number of 500 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contracting officer within 7 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. Responses are due by August 28, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
