- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Acquisition Circular 2005-12, dated 4 Aug 2006 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The solicitation will be issued on FedBizOpps and can be found at the following web site: http://www.eps.gov/. Solicitation # F2QF06181A300 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. This acquisition will be 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423430 with a number of 100 employees. ACC Contracting Squadron, Langley Air Force Base, VA has a requirement for 72 each of the 14 drawer and 78 each of the 10 drawer Tracewell E-tool mobile management consoles (EMMC) as outlined in the specifications below. All specifications must be met. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.211-6, if quoting on an ?or equal?, the offeror must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation. 14 Drawer Cabinet: Tracewell Part Number: 510-1106-F-00-00. General Specifications: 14 drawers accommodating 14 notebook computers, 1 per drawer. (each drawer must have as a minimum); Drawers must be vented to allow warm air to escape. Adjustable & secure strapping system in each drawer to prevent content shifting during shipment. Power: Min 2 ? 3 prong female power connectors; Provide 110 ? 115 VAC 50 hz; Mounted in back of drawer; LAN: 2 ? RJ45 female connectors; Mounted in back of drawer. Units must be Stackable - 2 units high, with means to secure together; Unit needs to be operational when stacked; All drawers must be accessible when units are stacked; Not grater than 62 in high when to units are stacked; Provide handles for four (4) person lifting; Pressure compensation valve, for air transportation. Unit must have (removable) casters/wheels to allow movement in shop; Must accommodate caster storage (not in a drawer) when not installed. Unit must have cooling fans to dissipate heat from case and items in drawers. Must be able to operate in extreme conditions and with withstand outside storage. Resistant to: Blowing Sand; Driving Rain; Snow/Ice; Temperatures 0 ? 50 C. Fans must have washable air filter to prevent sand/dust intrusion. Must have system monitor for fan, temperature, input power and current draw. Must have one LAN cable and one Power Cable extending from back of the case for external connectivity. LAN switch to provide 32 port RH-45 connectivity. Allow space to mount internal server for future upgrade. Unit must be able to operate from 100 VAC ? 240 VAC and 50 hz ? 400 hz. Drawers must be lockable while operating with user provided pad-lock (one lock should secure all drawers). All cables must be neatly managed within cabinet to ensure security and prevent damage while using drawers. Must have doors to enclose the unit during mobilization. Unit must not allow water/dust intrusion when packed for mobilization. Construction Material: Laser stitch-welded corrugated construction with Water, Chemical and Abrasion Resistant coating. Max weight 250 lbs. Color: desert sand. Cabinet must be strong enough to survive palletizing for transportation. Resistant to corrosion/degradation when exposed to weather. Resistant to scratching and denting. Cabinet Dimensions: Max cabinet Dimensions: W:40?, D: 30?, H:30? w/out casters. Drawer Dimensions: Max drawer dimensions: (L) 20" (W) 20" (H) 5"; Min 11" Clearance when fully extended. 10 Drawer Cabinet: Tracewell Part Number: 510-1225-F00-00. General Specifications: 10 drawers accommodate 10 notebook computers, 1 per drawer. Each drawer will have a 120 VAC outlet and 1, RJ45 Ethernet connection. Drawers must be mounted on track-slides for ease of movement and full extension for ease of installing computer chargers and computers. Drawers must be vented to allow warm air to escape. All drawers must be lockable with a single padlock. Power surge protection to protect all the laptops from voltage spikes. The unit must have a durable finish, like paint. The unit shall be equipped with a minimum 10 port Ethernet Switch. A single RJ45 cable providing network connection to cabinet. A Single power cord providing 120VAC to cabinet. An AC outlet on the rear of the chassis near the top. A fan to insure sufficient cooling while charging. Unit will have replaceable wheels. Construction Material: Light weight metal with protective coating. Max weight 250 lbs. Color: desert sand. Cabinet Dimensions: 18-20? Wide ? 24-26? Deep ? 40-50? Height. Drawer Dimensions: 16-18? Wide ? 16-18? Deep ? 3-4? Height. Responsibility, Inspection and Acceptance: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control. The requested delivery date is 12 weeks ARO (After Receipt of Order) or offeror?s best available date. FOB Destination as follows: Pope AFB, NC; Davis Monthan, AZ; Nellis, NV; Osan, Korea; Battle Creek, MI; Martin, MD; Boise, ID; Dyess, TX; Ellsworth, SD; Minot, ND; Seymore Johnson, NC; and Eglin, FL.
