- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being issued as a SOLE SOURCE. The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Matera Paper Company for White Go-Rag Taskmate Wiper for the Lackland AFB, Texas gyms. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(A). This is an unfunded action as authorized by FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. The anticipated award date is 30 Sep 2006. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 and DFARS Change Notice 20030722, Standard Industrial Code 2676, North American Industry Classification System Code 322291 for this procurement.
