Description

The solicitation number is FA8601-06-T-0163. This is a SOLE SOURCE procurement and the purpose of this solicitation is for information only. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Wright State University, Dayton OH 45435. The proposed contract is for investigation of biogeochemical processes and identification of PCE and TCE-degrading microbes in a constructed wetland and greenhouse mesocosms at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. Justification for the Sole Source: The Government requires the unique capability of this specific source based on continuing research effort for a project established through the Dayton Ohio Graduate Research Institute. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. There are no attachments to this announcement.
