Description
The Oregon Army National Guard has a requirement to Paint Military Tactical Vehicles. The solicitation is W912JV-06-T-0005 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Request for Quotes are due by September 5, 2006, 1:00 p.m. Oregon Local Time. The RFQ will result in a Requirements contract. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. To request a copy of the RFQ send an email request to Brandy.Kloock@ng.army.mil. 1.0 Scope of Work 1.1 The supplier shall furnish the following supplies/service if and when requested by the Contracting Officer during the period of 1 October 2006 Through 30 September 2011. 1.2 Scope of work A. Paint Military Tactical Vehicles B. Prepare vehicles for paint and paint vehicles C. Vehicle surfaces need to be free of dirt and grease; sanded as required; rust spots sanded smooth, rust areas to be treated; Ensure all areas not to be painted are masked and protected  ie, data plates, hoses, tires, cables, glass, mirrors, headl ights, tail lights, etc, and primer used before applying top coat. Vehicle will be painted CARC Tan primarily, some will vehicles will be CARC Green, Camouflage pattern maybe applied on a limited basis. Approx 3.5 -4 gallons of primer per vehicle and ap prox7 gallons top coat per vehicle. D. Primer must be an epoxy primer. Top Coat must be 1.5 VOC CARC paint. Top coat must be 5 mils thickness with out an abnormal finish- ie runs, wrinkles or water falls or overspray. Top coat will dry to touch in 35-40 minutes at 140 degrees, dry hard i n 3-4 hrs and complete cure in 7 days. E. This painted contract is developed to ensure Oregon National Guard equipment is maintained in a manner consistent with the commanders objectives. It is the contractors requirement to meet all federal and state OSHA and environmental requirements as p art of the contract. The Offerors must be registered on the Central Contractors Registration database (CCR). Information concerning CCR requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Centers at 1-888-227-2423. Only contra ctors who are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) can be awarded a contract. Offerors must have electronic funds transfer (EFT) capability. Offerors proposals shall be valid for a minimum of 30 days to be acknowledged in the offerors proposal. Point of Contact: Brandy L.
