Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation #RFQ-21705-0016-06. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) are 337910 and 314129. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsive/responsible quoter who submits the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Contracting Office, located at 655 Fairton-Millville Road, Fairton, New Jersey, 08320 is requesting quotations for mattresses, pillows and sheets for the Federal Detention Center (FDC) located at 700 Arch Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19105. All items are to delivered to the FDC Philadelphia Warehouse located at 5801 Tabor Avenue, Building 27C, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19120. SCHEDULE OF ITEMS AND SPECIFICATIONS: Item 1: Polyester Mattress, Flame Check or equivalent, 4 inches thick, 25" by 75", 3 ply vinyl laminate cover, Color Green, Hypo-allergenic, odor free, moisture and mildew resistant. Quantity: 1500 Each. Item 2: Flat Sheet, Poly/Cotton blend, Color Brown, 58" by 90" Quantity: 400 Dozen. Item 3: Mirco-Guard Cover Pillow or equivalent, 20" by 26", Color Cream, Weight 1.2 Lbs, antimicrobial 20oz. Polyester fiberfill core. Quantity: 1000 Each *ALL prices must be quoted FOB Destination. Delivery is required within 30 days of award.* EVALUATION FACTORS: The Government intends to make a single award, to the lowest technically acceptable offeror meeting the required specifications.
