Description

This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), citizenship & Immigration Service (CIS) intends to contract with Sumtotal Systems Inc. 1808 N Shoreline BLVD Mountain View, CA 94043, for firm, fixed rate Ontrack maintenance support 800 number for existing software already in use within USCIS, for a period of one year. Service will be provided to: USCIS, Office of Training and Career Development, 70 Kimball Avenue South Burlington Vermont 05403. This contract is for proprietary goods or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Sumtotal Systems Inc. under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located. This notice is being solicited on a sole-source basis unless alternate sources are located. Any responses must be received by 8/23/06 3:00PM Eastern.
