- General Information Document Type: Sources Sought Notice, Solicitation Number: Reference Number F4D0K36214A100 Posted: 22 Aug 06, NAICS: 611692 Description: 30`h Space Wing, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California intends to issue a sole source contract to Central Coast Motorcycle Training for Base Motorcycle Training. The contractor responsibilities are as follows: a. Conduct all classes using the curriculum of the MSF and/or CMSP in force at the time of the class B. Schedule a minimum of one class per month c. Schedule sufficiently-trained instructors to teach the class, how ever many are needed to avoid creating a backlog of more than 6 students per month and/or more than two month backup, whichever is less impacting d. Provide 30 SW/SEG with date(s) of the class no later than one month prior to the class. Unless an extra class is added to accommodate backlogs e. Reserve a minimum of six (6) seats per class for use by students registered through 30 SW/SEG (Contractor may release more seats if actual registration warrants) (Contractor may withdraw the reserved seats if they are not confirmed by 30 SW/SEG within ten (10) calendar days prior to class) f. Provide all classroom training documentation to CMSP. - Provide a copy to 30 SW/SEG of trainees pass/fail/no show status, DL389 number, and provide course MSF completion card and DL Form 389 to trainees, as appropriate. Within five (5) working days after completion of class, submit original invoice through Wide Area Work Flow and fax the invoice to 30SW/SE. To assist with smooth operations of the classes 30th Space Wing will a. Verify and register VAFB authorized personnel for class attendance b. Provide a roster of scheduled personnel to contractor NLT ten (10) calendar days prior to class. (By e-mail or fax.) c. Notify contractor (via e-mail or fax) if additional seats are required, or if the reserved seats cannot be filled, NLT 10 calendar days prior to start of class. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. All questions must be submitted NOT LATER THAN 2 days prior to the proposal end date. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
